Synopsis
Kapitan Planeta to superbohater, który ratuje Ziemię przed zniszczeniem. Pomaga mu w tym Gaja – Dobry Duch Ziemi. Kapitan Planeta powstaje z połączenia mocy przyrody: ziemi, ognia, wiatru, wody i serca. Te moce otrzymuje grupa nastolatków: Kwame z Afryki z mocą ziemi, Wheeler z Ameryki Północnej z mocą ognia, Linka z Europy Wschodniej z mocą wiatru, Gi z Azji z mocą wody i Ma-Ti z Ameryki Południowej z mocą serca. Używając swych mocy, próbują ocalić planetę, a gdy sobie nie radzą, łączą swoje moce, przyzywając Kapitana Planetę.
